Just Cliked my sheep today. Gave it a good shake before I used it. Used the correct gun but it now looks like they've been painted with pink gloss paint, I tried to get a thin fan spray but it came out quite thick and gloopy. Doesn't look like it will dissipate through the fleece. Should I just leave it or brush it out and try again? Thank you for any ideas.

The main reason I can think of why this would happen is not squeezing the trigger hard/fast enough - I used to have this problem all the time.

Thanks for your reply mowhaugh. I think you could be right. Any suggestions as to what I should do now? Leave it or try again?

It will dissipate through the fleece, just a bit slower than if you manage to get a spray pattern. Spray guns generally seem to be designed for someone with a size 10 hand and Mr Universe muscles.

If you've plenty, I'd be tempted to give them another squoosh, but eat some spinach first. My OH is a master at getting full spray effect, but now has RSI in his wrist and has to wear a support all the time!

Our gun seems good to swoosh

I also find that if you are too close you get more of a thick line than an even spray. If you do it again try holding the gun a bit further away from the sheep.

Thanks for all the advice. I practised with water and I think you're all right I've got to be further away and a bit bolder when I press the trigger!!!

Try smaller amounts eg 6 x 5ml for a small ewe and 18" looks along way in practise , cooking oil down the centre ram to help with lubrication

Thanks Shep, I'll give that a try next time!
