Title: Guineas not looking great
Post by: Paulie on August 30, 2015, 03:43:09 pm
Hi guys, I lost a guinea today, has looked a bit lacklustre for a couple of days but nothing else, I thought I'd catch and have a look at it, seemed a bit thin but nothing else, another looks to be going the same way, they are around 12 weeks old. Any ideas as to what course of action?

How are they housed?  Cocci most likely cause at that age.  Guinea fowl are as tough as old boots - if you can get them to adulthood.

They have moved themselves in with the chickens, plenty of room well ventilated and clean, they was hatched by my neighbour under a broody hen.
