Title: Bald spot on shearling
Post by: Je on August 11, 2015, 03:19:32 pm
Hi wonder if anyone can help? My shearling CRyeland has a bald patch on her head with a superficial scab the size of a 50p. Balb patch is 4x bigger than scab? It is dry but I wonder how to treat. No more bald patches on her and other sheep unaffected. It is off centre where a horn should be. Also would value opinions on mating feb '15 Zwartbles lambs with a Ryeland tup, is it fair? Zs are well grown. Thanks

Sounds like fly damage been and gone   , protect with product of choice   I would use  PINE or STOCKHOLM  tar     maybe  summer fly cream  or similar .         zw  ewe lambs should be ok .
