Well I like Suffolks and I think he's gorgeous. He looks just how a Suffolk should.
When I was looking for a replacement ram a couple of years ago I couldn't believe how many "pedigree" rams were advertised with brown fluff on their heads and half way down their legs, and ears that pointed up! And their owners assured me that that is what a modern Suffolk looks like.

I remember Adam Henson was going to recreate the original Suffolk at Cotswold Farm Park a couple of years ago (Southdown + Norfolk Horn) but I didn't see a follow up on what it looked like.

I remember Adam Henson was going to recreate the original Suffolk at Cotswold Farm Park a couple of years ago (Southdown + Norfolk Horn) but I didn't see a follow up on what it looked like.

Since the Norfolk Horn was lost and had to be recreated by 'reverse engineering' from the modern Suffolk, that all sounds a bit like a wormhole!  lol

Spinners up here were asked to spin the fleeces from the NHs and the Suffolks to assist the project.  However, the Norfolk Horn fleeces they were given were horrible, whereas I've since had Norfolk Horn fleece from other breeders that have been an utter delight.  In fact, it's one of my favourite fleeces.
