I work for a small independent tv production company (www.2sidestv.co.uk (http://www.2sidestv.co.uk)) and we’ve just been commissioned by Channel Five to produce a series about Pets for pre-school children. We’re looking for a family with young children (aged 3-7 approx) who keep livestock - goats, sheep, pigs etc. - and would be happy to be filmed during the summer holidays. It could also work with grandparents and grandchildren of that age. Ideally we'd like to be filming within about an hour of London!
Please get in touch if you are interested.

Within an hour of London. Not likely to be very typical then I suggest.

Hmm we are about 2 hours from London (based on my trip back from Watford being 1hr 45 friday night) - also my munchkins are a bit old with the youngest being 8, eldest 13.
Willing to try to help if you are still stuck for anyone more appropriate? we have goats, sheep, chickens, plums... ;)

We have a 4 year old and a 7 year old and the goats, sheep and pigs but we're certainly more than an hour from London :roflanim:

Unless they fly Clopper! Maybe they could use air travel? Would love to see you on TV!

Would love to see you on TV!
In my previous life I always avoided appearing on TV when they wanted an expert to comment on stuff ;D

Who can afford to do that stuff so close to London? Sell a house in Surrey and move 200 miles away, maybe.

Who ever they are they will have plenty TV experience either on match of the day or top of the pops!

Thanks for your response. The girls looking after the goats would certainly be a lovely story, but they're just slightly too old. Do they have any younger cousins or friends who could join in?

I know a lady in London who has 2 pet pigs and a youngster - she's not on TAS though. Can you please tell me your email address and I'll ask her to contact you?
Pm me if you'd rather not make it public ;)

That sounds great, so please do give her my details.
Thanks.

Have passed them on Sarah, good luck!

I run a community farm with sheep, pigs, goats etc. plus three children aged 3-7 just north of Cambridge - I can ask them if they'd like to be on telly

The community farm sounds really interesting and the children's ages are perfect. Our cameraman is based in Cambridge so he'd be thrilled! If you could check if they'd like to be involved, my email address is [email protected]
Thanks
Sarah
