Hi All,
We bought some Silkie eggs on ebay last year to help fill up the incubator without really intending to keep them. They were hatched in August, we have 4 white and 3 gold. Remarkably, we got every single one a pullet.
We are located near Falkirk, central Scotland belt. We are only looking to part with them as we have a few too many hens, and we never really intended to keep Silkies!
If anyone is interested, let me know.

Shame you are so far away - I have quite a few silkies, all white, and one black one. Would love some gold ones.
Lucky you getting the pullets - I always end up with lots of males whatever I hatch!!!

Hi,
They are all supposed to be large, however one of the gold ones is a bit wee for a large. It could be possible that a rogue egg snuck in. Looking for say £60 for them all? Might be able to negotiate! There will be someone here tomorrow evening, though I won't be home from work until the back of 6pm, so its most likely to be my mum who will be in.

puss is a woose, never set her paw outside all winter :cat: just decided lately to take a little 5 min sebatical round the front garden then scream to get back in, well fluffies had been installed in the chicken shed thats been empty all winter. puss goes out as usual and nearly jumps 5 feet when 6 strange fluffies are occupying the front garden ::)silly puss, took a couple of days before she went fourth again ;D
