One of my friends down south has just started raising rheas for meat. Anyone else got rheas?

A few years ago we got 2 eggs and incubated them but had no birds hatch!
1 of the eggs did not develope and the other never made it to the hatch........

What a family feast!
How good is the taste of the meat?

I have a friend with some but he doesn't eat them, they're just pets/fox chasers

I asked what it tasted like but he said he hasn't managed to catch one yet!

I beleive they need space to run, at least along a fence line.

Yes and I do believe that they like to steal earrings, or anything a bit shiny.  :sunshine:

I was offered two males FOC a while back but was worried about the safety of my small dogs.
