Have a nice time!!  Even Skeggie would be nice, could do with a break, and not too fussy where. But highly unlikely with all my animals.

Two things Annie love Thanks so much for advice am I on your screen ?Good intit?Yes again and good luck if you are showing. You did make a post earlier about going down early. No  CROFT is a village about a couple of miles from Skeggy on the A57 road to Nottingham .This road passes through Wrangle some where I often write about.Just nicely out of Skeggy turn right to Wainfleet or go a little further and turn right to Croft. There is an emporium there called Ramco theres all sorts of ex military junk to pick over.If you knew Sanderson Fork Lift Trucks its in their old works.

I used to go to Skeggy all the time, I had a family with a child fostered out there so had to make regular checks!!! I would go down with my OH, then have the 2 hr meeting then take a look around, SKeggy is a good honest British sea side, with Donkeys and amusements, also the traditional ice cream, hot dogs, candy floss, bingo (hate bingo) and good old Skeggy rock!!!!!! Oh and some sea and sand, must not forget that!! hope Jackie has her pac a mac with her ;)

I had a good time but Skeggy was closed. Im serious, even corner shops such as spar or londis etc. Not many chip shops either except Salts and I love their fish its sooo fresh.

The weather was bitter cold but hey a breaks a break eh?

One of my best friends lives in Yarmouth and I visited her when that was closed, something sad about a closed sea side resort!!!! Something you just have to have when you visit the sea side..FIsh and Chips, nothing better on a cold windy day on the East Coast.
My parents used to have a second house in Cleethorps, they had a range of coats, scarfs and hats left there as it was often a bitting wind, not a wonerful venue but the Fish and Chips were fantastic! ummmmmmm and I am on a diet!!!!
glad you enjoyed your break, it's not all about sun anyway
