We have successfully hatched chickn eggs i the past. Our friend has asked us to hatch him some geese eggs.We have an automatic incubator. What is the ideal temperature and humidity?
-
basically same as chickens 37.5 c and 55%
depends what breed they are as to how long they will take to hatch, ranges from 31 - 36 days
-
If they're on an auto turner we've found 37.8 gives better results and the humidity at 45. 3 days before hatch turn the auto-turn off and up the humidity to 65.
Depending on the breed you're looking at a long wait for geese
Good luck!

i thought geese needed to be sprayed like ducks.
-
Not according to our instructions... Very annoying if they do as we're a week off our first duck and goose hatch and we've just set the humidity and left them... Hope I haven't wasted 21 eggs and lots of £££s

i think its useually poor/ bad results for geese eggs in an incubator, best 3 under a hen

Unfortunately we dont have a broody. Our Orpington is only 7 weeks old,Maybe try her next year. They are Embden Geese. Thanks for your suggestions.
