Ah well due to the buffalo producing tons of milk I have been making buffalo ice cream, the first time in 8 years and it still tastes gorgeous. Strictly for home use of course. :) What do you guys do with excess milk?

Ice cream, yoghurt and planning some cheese

We're doing practise runs of mozzarella atm, for home use, but when the units are up and running ( hopefully next year) we will be making it for selling, hopefully also mail order. :)

We feed ours to our pigs they love it ! ( milk not ice cream ) !

I'm going to make the first batch of cheese tomorrow. Not had any for over a year.

I mainly make cheese as I LOVE goats cheese! Am planning on having a go at ice-cream before the ducks give up laying. Off this week so have a little time to experiment. Going to try and make a cajeta ice-cream as they will use even more milk up and is gorgeous!

That sounds amazing!
Unfortunately this year we may not have many raspberries as the goats escaped and have decimated the raspberry patch! Not sure it is going to recover this year even though they are autumn fruiting.
