Just thought I'd share my news....our 'first born' since moving to our new place is a Shropshire Ram Lamb...needed help in lambing (one leg firmly tucked behind) but after a bit of a struggle, we now have our newest arrival...Sidney...(our farm is Sidway Mill Farm...so Sidney Sidway). Mother and baby doing fine!

Fantastic!! How many more to go?

Eleven more ewes (providing they all caught)...a mix of Shropshire, Southdown and Balwen...but I'm hopeful of a Dexter calving tonight as well...six pregnant...and also two Tamworth Sows, both due next week....busy...busy...busy! Just hope we don't have too many problems...preferably none!
Have a suspicion I'll be posting on/reading TAS into the early hours over the next few weeks!!!
