Hi, I have a lovely 12month old Dexter Bull (Darcy) for sale...he has a wonderful friendly temprement and will make a very good breeding bull...very keen...price would be £300, if anyone is interested please drop me an email with your details. He has been TB tested and can be seen by appointment
We are based at Sidway, Staffordshire, within easy reach of junctions 14/15 of the M6 (email details in my profile)...many thanks
Farmer, (John) :farmer:
Just to clarify he is entire!

Just for clarifications sake...
If he's a bullock, by definition he cannot become a breeding bull...

Quite right Beth...sometimes I should read what I write!!! - I have corrected my earlier post.
Darcy is ENTIRE, 12 months old, unregistered but from a registered Dam and my own Bull (also unregistered)...we breed only for meat for our own Farm Shop outlet so don't bother with registration. He is medium legged with a nice comformation and very good temperament and would in my opinion be a good first timer for a smallholder breeding for meat. He is horned, but very gentle and has been handled regularly...we obviously can't keep him, but it seems a waste just to grow him on for beef.
I would like to sell him, but would also be interested in a swap/part exchange for an 'in calf' Dexter Heifer/cow, a Dexter cow with calf or a Gloucester Old Spot sow/maiden gilt, either in pig or with a litter (registered or not) or a registered GoS boar...does that give everyone enough scope??
Thanks for reading...Farmer, :farmer:
