is'nt lovely to see spring again ;D
there is an ol saying ' when spring is knocking on your door, you better answer her!'
how true is that. we better make the most of this opportunity before it passes us so quickly
as we all know before we miss our chance of sowing and reaping.
got me wife in potting shed sowing!! ;D

Sure are right there! ::) Was a wee bitty warmer yesterday and the ground was soft beside the house so I dug over the border and planted some summer flowering bulbs. Doesn't usualy get frosted in that area so think it should be OK. With a bit of luck it'll be a nice display with the creeping Jenny and Bugle underneath. Haven't dared to plant any seeds yet though. Potting shed has a stupid venetian blind on the window so need to get it off so I can see what I'm doing ;D

shetland paul you didnt say anything, but maybe you were going to say - she's not knocking on any doors up here yet! even if she'd come up your way she wouldntve been able to see the house never mind the door for the blizzardy snow ... Ive just heard the forecast saying it might be -20 in some places tonight ~ # scream # and there's no hay left in the world apart from a couple of bales at £40 a bale!!! :D Spring , where are you ? Could someone send her up here the next time they see her please?

i tried to post a picture of my son up to his waist in snow but it failed. she seems to have forgotten about us up here in the north. your all a bunch of softies why in my day we had snow up to the roof and one piece of coal between two of us if we were lucky. seriously the winters not finished with us yet. as the wife ditches the car and wrecks the gear box. the feed merchant is expecting the big hay bales to get to 65 each. but when the snow was gone the grass was glowing. so there is hope.

Spring arrived here and it's been quite nice for the last couple of weeks and even got to 20 degrees C at one point........but it looks like we're in for another cold spell here in Bulgaria and back into the minus's overnight with more snow expected and rain too - Just when the garden has finally dried out!
Looks like I'll be wearing my wellies again lol
