Title: Norfolk Black turkey suppliers
Post by: Fleecewife on June 26, 2015, 03:32:23 pm
I am trying to source a producer of good quality Norfolk Black breeding stock.  I can find eggs and dayold chicks, and table ready at Christmas.  There are suppliers in Norfolk, possibly of breeding stock, but I am in the south of Scotland.  I am prepared to travel about 100 miles, but so far I haven't found what I want.
I could get day olds and pop them under a broody, if I could get them pdq, but she's been broody for a while so it would be just my luck she would walk out on them.  Even then, what's available is unsexed meat birds.

Any ideas?  :turkey:

We have just bought ten birds from rutland organics. They delivered and vetted me and their run. You could try giving her a bell.
