Title: Ritchie 660 g lamb weighbridge. Why does is have a 250kg clock?
Post by: m3joeEm on June 26, 2015, 12:01:45 am
Hi everyone,
I have a somewhat random question. But I really want to know why...
I recently bought an old Ritchie weighbridge 660g. It's the same as the one in their current range except painted orange instead of galvanised, I was just curious as to why these crates have 250kg scales. That seems very high to me. Even high for weighing ewes?? Why is this or what benefits has a bigger scale clock?

I'm with Foobar on this one.
A customer of mine has a weight crate with 3 different scale clock faces.
He used to be a pig farmer.
