Does anyone know if I can use a horse trailer for transporting pigs and sheep?
-
If its metal so you can wash it out, probably, not sure if its ok with a wooden one.

much depends where and why If you take any stock to market in Linc's there is power washing provided and for PRESSURE WASHING YOUR TRAILER out this also means cattle truck as well YOU MUST WASH OUT AND THE WHEELS BEFORE LEAVING THE SITE It may not be verbatim but thats near enough The signs are in lots of places and HAVE YOU WASHED OUT? It came on with the last scare. :farmer:

Some of the stock will be going to (or from) Lincoln but some to (or from) Melton market, which is approx 90 miles.
Thank you Hilarysmum, Oink and George. ;D
So the trailer has to have an aluminium floor. But what about stock gates?
-
I think you have to have proper stock gates.

Thank you Rosemary, so thats the horse trailer out then. :)
At least I know before I buy anything and waste my money. ;)
