Title: Our first baby has arrived

I'm so excited!  After all the trouble we had with our Dexters over the winter, our first calf arrived overnight.  Pics to follow.

Congratulations MrsJ  (Granny J)...hope both Mother and calf are doing well...I'm anticipating the birth of six Dexter calves over the next two months...fingers crossed!

We had a lovely dexter house cow many years ago ....so quiet.  We could milk her in the field!!  I would love another.

Aaah - I'm jealous! He's lovely. Mum looks pretty chilled too.
