Title: Wanted...some land to rent in North Yorkshire

 Hello,

  We are looking for some land to rent near to Pickering in North Yorkshire. We keep rare breeds pigs and currently are renting a small piece of land, but would like more so we can keep more pigs, and maybe some sheep. Also we would like to grow more of our own veg.
We would ideally like 5-10 acres, and its incredibly hard to find... if anyone out there knows of any, or anyone who may have some. please can you let us know.

go and visit all the local farmers, you never know, if you dont ask you dont get ;D

Hi Debbie / Mark.  I am just starting off with pigs & am just up the road from you, I am up the Marishes road near Yedingham. Mine is not the sort of venture that you have. I am looking at going semi self sufficient & have had some great advice from this site.
I am a completely new to it all & would be interested in picking your brains  :)  Maybe come see you?????
