Hi - a friend put me on to this site - I've got Icelandic sheep and horses, I spin and weave my own fleece. Always looking for extra information on anything I'm interested in.

Welcome to the forum - lots of folk on here have sheep - can you post some piccies? I just have poultry and dogs, and not enough land. Wondering about buying some woodland though. Is it Icelandic ponies you have? My friend in Sweden has four of those. Lovely natures and very strong

Hi and welcome from the Scottish Borders. I have always liked icelandic ponies, nearly got one a few years ago but missed out as owners had found a home for it.

Hello and welcome from Devon. :)

Hi there, from a fellow spinner and weaver ;D Don't have my own sheep, though! What made you choose icelandic sheep, and do you spin lopi?
-
Thanks for the welcome. I have Icelandic sheep - why: meat, milk, fleece and skins. They are small and neat and take a long time to mature for meat. Why - mmmm - because I've got Icelandic horses and a like coloured fleece. Will try to post pictures of my lot although not too good at it so I may end up putting them on one at a time.
