Title: goat book
Post by: langdon on February 24, 2010, 07:17:04 pm
i was giving a goat book by a freind its called 'goat husbandry'
written by david mackenzie.
this one is in its fourth edition.
its a blue cover paper back with a angora billy on the front cover.
its a great book to use as a tool, as to read it cover to cover would make my head explode!

David Mackenzie is very interesting in bits, not one to read cover to cover though...

You're better off with one of the slimmer volumes, and more practical advice too.

Its remarkable how threads I see are coming up with the same thing on different forums! I wouldn't perhaps take everything in the McKenzie book as gospel, but some interesting stuff.
