Hi there,
we picked up our keys to our new smallholding today in Ceredigion, a lot of work to do on the house before we can look at the land (which seems not to have been managed for a while) excited and apprehensive at the same time,
hoping some fellow smallholders are nearby for morale support!

Good luck from Northamptonshire but soon to be Wales. The excitement and apprehension is exactly what we feel. Look forward to hearing how it all goes.

We do occasionally have a meet for the South West people. Often its at someone's smallholding. Now that lambing is mostly over its probably time for another one soon.

We've also just bought a smallholding in Ceredigion and I started my own "Hello" thread the other day :excited:

Good Luck on your adventure neighbour....

Hi there Mrs Pea,
Hello nonnatus,
Long list of jobs but very exciting, hope your plans are going well too.
Juggling a "normal" job with the building and land, so a list that gets longer each day, including the dreaded knotweed, but we'll get there!
