LOL!
I thought I was doing well at 75 ! Seems I may have to change my ways ;)
Especially since I heard them saying on 'This Morning' that you're at your happiest aged 74 :o
One year of enjoyment - lots to look forward to eh ? ::)
-
93 for me and 87 for Dan - since I'm 7 years older than him, looks like we're going together! ;D
-
Bluddi L jackie don't do that.I won't have anyone to bandy compliments with I don't do stress I just let it all roll over me and carry on just the same.As you know I have COPD so what.I was asked to apply for Pulmonary assistance and I attend 2 times a week great. When I feel Knacker-ed I stop doing the exercises and sit down and get my breath back.Nurse has just increased my oxygen supply through a nasal cannula from 4 to 6 litres a minute That has cut the life of a fully charged cylinder from 7 to 43/4 hours Who cares if I've no gas I don't go simple ;D ;D :farmer:

Rusty my dear where do I send your flowers? ;D
Seriously I need to lose weight and stop smoking :(
-
My Granny died a couple of years ago aged 104, my other granny was 100,
my dad turned 80 today, as for me, geez that's anybody's guess, but if this cold weather is a sign of things to come
I think I will only be "alive for six months of the year, because, I think, I'll take a leaf out the lifestyles of some of the animals
and go into hibernation for a wee while. :)
-
Actually Pigtails if we could all hibernate then we would all live longer as our metabolism would slow down.
You, with your family trait have go this covered and are going to live at least until you are 100. ;D Lucky you ;D
-
I look like both of my parents (= genes maybe) ..expressions etc ... but although I loved my lovely Mum to bits , I hope I have more of my Dads genes in me than hers... he lasted till he was 73 , we lost Mum when she was only 53 ....I am 52 !!!!
cheers

Thank you Jackie, however, I have all the vices, I enjoy my ciggies, and my red wine and I don't really eat as I perhaps should,
at 28, I was advised I'll never see 40, now in my 50's the link that started this post says I might see 68,
got a lot to do in the next 10 years though, :) gonna be somewhat busy methinks. :)
-
Oh sweetie, me and you both. I smoke 40 per day and Im overweight.
Perhaps we should try to value what we have been given together?

I am two packs a day in the least,
I tried once to go on diet / detox/ quit smoking/ drinking red wine with an email friend, she did very well but I am afraid I fell by the wayside with three weeks!
I don't regret it though, as I am a perfectly confident, quite a happy person as is my friend who's stash of chocolate is truly safe
in her secret cubbyhole, under the stairs. :)
-
mine was 89 which is in line with most of my family I guess.
-
40 a day :o :o seriously you should try to cut down if you cant give up, lifes too short as it is!
-
I've got 81 years, but if I can get some veg to grow this year I can get it up to 86 (last year I managed to grow loads of spuds, quite a few peas, 8 carrots, 2 spring onions and one very small Cauliflower').
Oh, and if I have a sex change I'll get another 7 years! ;D

Mab My friendly GP always greets me "and how are you today Mr Baker" to which I always reply "Fine I woke up din't I" ;D
-
Dan worked out that for 4 months we'll be 87 and 93 respectively so he reckons we're doomed in an accident. So for those 4 months we're staying in bed, so we could live forever!!
-
See you folks - looks like my life is under threat if I don't get off this computer, go for a run and make a salad - nice knowing you all!!!!!!!
-
Hello Rosemary This is the first time I have spoken to you directly.I don't think living forever is a good idea I cannot prove this but quite frequently I read in the Telegraph (If you read me and I say its in the Telegraph I mean the Grimsby Evening Telegraph )Mrs ****** celebrates her 101st birthday A party was arranged at the Beeches etc;etc; Now Mrs ****** doesn't look like she chased the stock that had broken out the paddock nor does she look as if she could get out her wheelchair without a lot of help to swing her fencing gablet or she may have one of those new aluminium mallets. Its not for me Rosemary.I once said at a radio club meeting I'm going to be the oldest most cantankerous awkward sod here.To which some wag replied "Ain't you now" I told him I'd get him at playtime as well Regards George
-
80 for me, if I don't die of aggravation before then!
-
Concluded that I don't want to know...sometimes think I've lived too long anyway when I think about the state of the world and how much our wonderful country has deteriorated....but then I think how lucky I am to live where I do and what a privileged life I lead...I'll take what comes, when it comes and just rejoice in what I/we have now for as long as it lasts...there's always someone worse off, no matter how hard it gets!
Attended nine funerals of family and friends last year...the youngest only forty the eldest eightythree...one thing for sure I'll do my utmost to enjoy life to the full for whatever time I have left!

2042 for me - and I feel young but that date is actually forseeable - right going out for that run now - if you don't hear from me again you'll know that I had a heart attack trying to get fit to extend the 2042 date
-

-
Aw - its lovely to feel needed. That's supposed to help longevity too isn't it? I guess the mental exercise of posting here is staving off Alzheimer's too......... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Maybe you should cast a spell for all of us Wizard....
-
I think I already have it Mari. I would if I could just remember how to do it ;D :farmer:
-
Well, the deathclock gives me until Thursday, September 12, 2075
Which would make me 12 years older than the first longevity test!
Now, what shall I plan for those extra 12 years?!
-
deathclock says i'll die, Thursday, July 12, 2068 i will be i think 74, born in 1994, maths not a strong point, feel free to corect me :D
but
first thing says i'll be 90, who knows,
i know which i would rather :D
-
Am nearly there Cameron. The lying swine that said life begins at 40? I can think of all sorts of pleasureable (to me) I could do to him.Starting with a bit of cord and a tree if it was a him :D ;D :'( :farmer:
-
Apparently I'm gonna live for 20 years longer too and the only difference between the 2 lots of questions was am I an optimist? I am, hence the extra 20 years.
