It depends on the hen itself, i have one that has gone broody on me already and ten others that aren't. If you wait they will get broody soon enough.

my  hen has laid 3 eggs but when i checked this morning one of the eggs was out of the nest i put it back but was wondering if she is a bad hen and will need to incubate the eggs what do you think ?

Sometimes they do push them out, it's not always a good sign but if it's the first time shes gone broody it may be nothing more than that. If she comes of you will know as she wont sit and will probably kick the eggs out of the nesting area.

May be a bit early for most broodies, wait till it get warmer and let nature take its course.
