Hello - have enjoyed lurking for some time and have now 'bitten the bullet' and registered. I have five hens just now (and two cockerels on parole with a friend). Today I've encountered a problem with an egg... but I'll post that in the poultry section.

Hello from me in South Lanarkshire ;D
I grew up here, but lived in Aberdeenshire for a few years. Moved to Westhill before deciding I needed to be in the 'country' again ;) So we moved to Pitmedden for a while, before finally buying a 2 acre smallholding out at Fyvie ;D After our 2 legged 'animals' made an appearance it was back home here, to TRY and get my families redundant farm into some kind of production ;)
No chickens for me (yet!) but I am totally addicted to :pig: :pig: :pig:
Look forward to hearing more from you,
Karen x
