Post by: Cjnewton82 on May 05, 2015, 09:42:05 am
I live in East Sussex I'm looking for some advice on chicken vaccinations what against and when as I'm due a hatch soon.
Thanks guys.

My advice would be not to vaccinate at all. The birds are weakened by the process and become carriers. In France the only thing they appear to vaccinate against is Newcastle Disease for show birds -a dead virus that is renewed annually. They concentrate on probiotics in the feed with prebiotics and added vitamins. No ACS.

I would give them Avipro Avian just after they start drinking. Ours have had that and at 2 weeks they are growing very fast and are really healthy -much better than our previous UK feed hatches.

I don't vaccinate and I never buy birds that have been vaccinated
