Bantams are laying very well, and even the ones I hatched last summer too. As usual, the bantams lay where they please, but so far so good, and I have found the eggs.
Getting about 10 eggs a day off the big hens.
So, put my sign up outside the gate, and spent all morning labelling my egg boxes, and boxing up the eggs. Put two separate boxes outside, with a written sign on each box - one for the hen eggs at £2 a dozen, and the bantam eggs at £1 a dozen, all free range. Put the boxes by the gate just after lunch. By teatime I had sold 3 dozen.
Just about to box up tomorrows supply now. Hope the thief does not turn up, cos I am at work and will not be there in the morning to keep my beady eye on the gate and my eggs.

To be honest even if you were at home you might not catch the thief - I was! It takes seconds to lift a box of eggs and secrete it away. I'm getting one duck egg and 3 hens from 2 ducks and 8 hens so things are improving here too. Just given away so far but soon will put word round.
