Bobby the billy thats who. Let him out in the small pen this afternoon and he did his usual trick of escaping and going in the orchard. Only ate the brambles, which I don't mind. You shake a feed bucket and he is back like a shot!!
-
what a good lad and cleaning some weeds too.

Don't know what your problem is Rosy, he looks to be enjoying himself there hee hee ::) ::)

he is a lush goat!!!!!!
his coat is goergious, what breed is he?
and what is the matter with our goats at the mo?
we give them everything they need in the patch or whatever they are in and they
want to escape!!!
milly has been getting out again today.
tomorrow im puting up a fence on the inside of the hedge,
if that doesnt work i dont know what will!!!
again your billy(forgot name sorry :-[)
langdon ;) :goat:
-
just showed him to wifey
she thinks he lush too!
bet your proud ;)
-
There is nothing wrong with your goats, goats are mischievous and nosey and think its fun to escape.
-
that wasnt a serious question!!!
i was just making a laugh at the situation.
but thanks for your input!!!!! :D :goat:

Bobby is a long haired pygmy - his back legs are so hairy, he looks like he is wearing black and white wellies. Funny enough, his daughter from last year, and son from this year do not look at all hairy. In fact, this years kid does not look like him at all, being brown. Will try and post a pic of the little un.

Roxy a couple of my Pygmy's are long haired and I have to say they are very cute.
-
he looks very much like the Bagot goats my friend has
-
I think Bobby is rather wide to be a bagot? He is very small, and the kids by him are pygmy sized too. But, he does look similar to the pic you posted of the one for sale!
-
Oooo he's absolutely gorgeous Roxy

Speaking of which, since nobody offered an intact Doyle a home, he is due to be emasculated so he can roam with the herd again, without clashing horns with the resident billy (hopefully!)

just had another look at bobby,
i think he is just fab!! ;)
just out of interest can you breed pygmy goats with normal ones.
my guess is you cant ;)
