Yeah I read this as well, nice in theory but let's face it, those that let their dogs poo everywhere are not going to be volunteering for the database. Can imagine enforcement is also going to be expensive so unsustainable.

I wondered if it might be tied into the compulsory microchipping thats about to come in? :thinking:

They could take a DNA sample then and store it I suppose. But, do you remember when dogs had to be licenced? Responsible owners didn't jib at it, the others didn't bother. So, I think it may be the same with compulsory chipping ::)
