Put the geese in last night, one missing, wandered round, found her on a nest I didn't know about. picked her up (diversionary tactic with one hand, grab her neck with the other, now safe to pick up ;D ).
Anyway took her nearer her shed put her down, straight back to the nest, I wondered if she just wanted to lay so went back to the house for half hour, then went back for her, still there, worried about fox, I picked her up, walking back to her shed I heard a thump, yup, she'd popped an egg out while I was carrying her. Poor girl what a time to be disturbed. egg safe on grass.
