First timer scanned with a single. Ram came out 21 weeks and 4 days ago. Looked her over last week - good condition, no sign of udder, vulva normal. Deceided to leave her in the shed and carry on feeding for another week, just to be on the safe side. This morning = lamb. Still no udder, but plenty of milk. They do like to surprise you, don't they?!

Don't they just! One did the same to me this year, scanner said would be late, no udder, and hardly noticeably pregnant. All the others had lambed so didn't bother to pop home from work at lunchtime, got home in the evening to a lamb, licked, dried and suckled! Where she keeps the milk is a mystery!
