Topped the rushes today. Earliest I've ever been able to do this as the ground was quite dry only a few wet patches. Is this a sign of global warming reaching Wales?

did my field earlier in the week i am slowly winning the battle lol

We have curlew and lapwing here, as well as snipe, grouse, partridge and pheasant, so topping this early in the year is a no-no.

I've chained a couple of the drier fields but the others still have damp patches so global warming has missed my acreage...
