ive had such great feed back of you guys that i thought
instead of replying to you all on a one to one basis(which would take me forever with my typing!!)
i would give this post to you all.
as with any other questions ive asked you have come up trumps again!!.
ive allways made sure the hay rack is full, feed morning and afternoon with mix and with the oats plus barley
(but not anymore, could they have it like a treat or something?)
but once again thanks for helping me out ;) :goat:

Yes, of course you can continue with your oats and barley fed to your goats .....I am sure they will enjoy it, expecially if its not fed all the time - they enjoy little treats!!
I think we should be thanking you, because since you have been on the forum, the goat posts have been used, and answered a lot more. Actually, we had only just had a goat part of the board just before you joined, so we had not really had much chance to use it!!

dont think I answered the oats and barley thread, just wanted to say... why not mix it in with their regular feed?
We have goat mix, rabbit food, pig meal, cut maize, corn and mixed flakes (oats, peas, maize etc) which we mix and match for all the animals & poultry.
Margo the milking goat (well, she isnt at the moment... but her & Caesar have been busy today!!) wont stand still for just a bucket of goat mix at milking time! She also loves cornflakes and raisens...

Feed them titbits of apples, carrots or cabbage leaves as treats, cut into fingers, or grated and then sprinkle on some seaweed and garlic.
