Title: Pet lamb - worming
Post by: jembo on February 07, 2010, 07:19:14 pm
Hi,
I am new to the forum. I have a small flock of mixed breeds, I seem to be collecting animals at the moment!

I have a orphan ewe lamb in the house at the moment. I don't usually worm them until they are out at grass but this little one (6 days old) is very wormy (ie I can see worms in the poo) is there a wormer out there that is suitable for lambs? I obviously dont want to give her anything too aggressive as she was on deaths door when i picked her up. She is very lively now and spends most of her time jumping on the sofa and pouncing on the dogs!

Thanks for your help.

You could try VermX which is a herbal wormer so natural and not so harsh on digestive systems.

Thanks for that - I will also check with the vet in the morning!
