Title: Heptavac question (a different sort to normal)
Post by: Hillview Farm on April 10, 2015, 07:21:10 am
Going to heptavac the lambs tomorrow but I have a question regarding non breeding adult sheep.

We have a Wether and some old ewes bow retired or going for cull later in the year. Do these need the heptavac?  I don't know anything about the diseases really apart from they can live in the soil. What age group they affect?

Thanks

Can affect a range of ages, if you have spare jab them. Remember the tups

Yes, all sheep need their vaccinations.

If some leftover than Jab ... agree all sheep need their vac's  but I wouldn't waste money on stock which is  'for the off'
