After waiting for over a week, we had our first twins born this morning. The whole time the sun was shining :sunshine: and the lark was singing his wee heart out. Idyllic

Its been very slow this year - we had a little flush at the start but nothing for almost a week - I think they are waiting for the rain ; 0)

How lovely Fleecewife - I was out in a t-shirt!!!! in the sun, skylarks singing and I sat happily watching a Castlemilk produce twins - so made up for the 2.00am watch the night before

Hi Brucklay. Yes it was T shirt weather here today :sunshine: Tonight and tomorrow it's windy and rain, and for Sunday we are forecast SNOW :cold: So I hope the rest of the ewes hang onto their lambs til the worst is past.

We're still waiting, for both sheep and a Pygmy goat, lovely warm weather but wind at 41mph at 16.00 today so we reckon that's when they'll go :roflanim:
