Title: Hi Goaty Folk

Hi just wanted to say hello to the goaty folk on the forum. I have been a member of the site for quite some time as we used to breed rare breed chickens.

Anyway we have 12 Pygmy goats in our wee herd now. Four of which are only three weeks old. As with many folk we started with two girls and before we could blink, we were hooked and more appeared. We attended a few shows last  year and my 9 yr old daughter was chuffed with her rosettes.

Hi Gillsta - Goats = happy nice friendly people :) so with 12 you must be really nice :)

I had to smile, 12 pygmy goats = 'wee herd'?, thats a bit more than a 'wee herd' to me  :) .
definitely get the bit about starting with 2, (actually just realised, with 5 adults and 7 kids, I've got 12 as well, 3 kidded and another 2 to kid - Oh Heck - WHAT AM I getting into! LOL ( :goat: :love: )

Had a giggle at the comments on this cold but refreshingly beautiful morning. Time for a warm up and a coffee me thinks.

Very chuffed that I might actually be thought of as being a nice person. So the more goats you have the nicer you are. I must get more  :eyelashes:

Obviously goaty people are nice because they are happy  ;D  I love the poster I saw a while ago that said money can't buy you happiness but it can buy you goats which is pretty much the same thing  :goat:

congrats on the rosettes  :thumbsup:
There is something about goats that makes you smile,(apart from some of the mischief and merry dances they lead us ;) )
 has anyone else noticed goats seem to have a little smile? the back of their mouth seems to turn up slightly
