Title: sticky bottom ?

Elderly hen is a bit poorly, I noticed white sticky mess on her backside. Her comb is a bit purplish but
she is eating. I've isolated her and will give her some porridge.

she sadly died this morning...


She was the oldest of the flock and she had a restful day yesterday with porridge. Shame, though as now I'm another hen short and no sign of any of the others going broody...
