Well, they have all survived so far and tubby eating and playing machines. They are going for their vaccinations next Tuesday and four have homes so far.
Well, herein lives my first issue.... the book of the bitch says they should go at 7 weeks and not 8. People seem to home at between 6 and 8 weeks. I had always assumed 8 weeks was necessary and people who did earlier were irresponsible. Book of the bitch though says differently.
If they have their first vac at 6 weeks, they have their second at 10 weeks. They will go to their new homes part vaccinated anyway.
they fit into puppy collars now :excited:

Well its no good giving us this info without pics to go with it ;D
Glad they are doing well and mostly have homes. I can't help with when they should go though.

Many responsible breeders keep them till after their first and even second injection - that would be up to 10 weeks of age. I let mine go at 8 weeks - no younger.
It's entirely up to you

8 weeks and no earlier here, our vet won't give the second vaccination until +12 weeks regardless of what age the pup received the first (something to do with new research / immunity levels etc)

I believe that it is the socialisation with the other pups that is important, but you will be able to judge whether they are ready or not. However that is all irrelevant until I have seen some photos and can judge the cuteness :excited:

Likewise - I won't give any more advice until I have seen some cute photos! :excited: :excited: :excited: :roflanim:
