My sheepskins came back from tanning today and I just want to stroke them  . OH doesn't get it ::)
-
Where did you get them done?
-
Nicki Port who does the organic tanning.
-
How much was that ?
-
£42 each as they were pretty big
-
Next question - where are the photos?
-
I got mine done there and am mostly pleased with them. One of the brown Shetlands was fairly felted up, but not sure if the wool structure was just too fine or something.
But the Gotland x Shetland ones are lovely.

I would love to see photos too....

Is that including or ex VAT?
-
no vat
I'll try to get some photos done later
-

These are Gotland x Shetland skins? Mine are similar. I can't wait until I get my grey ones to the tannery this autumn....

I had my Ryelands done at Nikki Ports. Very pleased with them. Mine were £35 each as they were lambs.
-
They're lovely! Thanks for sharing. I've never really thought about having them done but now I'm tempted!
