I have just seen some advertised locally. Says they are feeding on a shepherdess, so don't need bottle feeding. But I did a double take at the price - £120 each it said!!
If I went up to the local sheep farmer, I am sure he would happily give me some cade lambs. But he won't if he sees those prices, will he!!!
I may ring up and ask if the price is right!!!

thats twice the price of a market lamb. were they a rare breed.

Perhaps the number 1 was a mistake and it should be £20! More realistic. A number of farmers here sell theirs for £10 each at a couple of days old. Needing bottle feeding of course, so £20 could be about right.

I paid £10 last March for 3 day old lambs.

I'll sell you plenty for fiver a lamb :D

I want some! (of the ones costing a fiver that is- I don't want any for £120!).

Oh....I was just about to give you the number of the expensive lambs, Ballingall!! Yes, the fiver ones would suit me if they were nearby. Advert is still there, and the price has not been changed. I have noticed livestock before off this seller, and his prices are always on the large side. Lambs will be fully grown and still with him, and no takers at that money.
