Title: Eggs
Post by: sabrina on February 03, 2010, 05:29:50 pm
Well today I collect my first dozen eggs from my 14 hens, if they keep this up I could have over 70 a week. Now I need a plan on what to do with them all. Friends at work buy some but I will still have a lot left.  :chook:

Start making your own mayonaisse, ice-cream, lemon curd, bake cakes....

Or stick up a sign that says : Free-range (or whatever) eggs...   and sell them to passing trade?

That's what I did - I was amazed at the number of people form quite a distance away who wanted them - then I couldn't keep up with demand!
