i will be needing another pot of Flubenvet in the not too distant future, but there appears to be a problem as most suppliers are out of stock. Does anyone a) know of a supplier with stock or b). Have any other suggestions for worming hens?

Im glad you have started this....Im struggling to find it too

Get Marriages layers with Flubenvet premix instead- 10Kg bags mail order will treat 10 hens. It is a lot less hassle as well. You may find the reason you can't get the 1% is because people have stopped buying it, so stores are not stocking it.

You could use Diatomaceous earth, the one to go in feed not spread round their shed.
Find it on line

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to have to get Marriages treated pellets. I assume they keep ok as I only have 6 hens and may not use a whole bag at one worming session.

you can get smaller bags of the pellets-they won't keep for long.

It's much cheaper to buy the premixed pellets too - you spend nearly £20 on a pot of 1% Flubenvet plus the cost of the pellets themselves whereas the premixed pellets are not a lot more than the basic pellets are.
