Title: Egg boxes for goose eggs
Post by: waddy on March 17, 2015, 08:02:27 pm
Anyone know where I can get goose egg boxes from (the cardboard not the polystyrene type)? They are rattling around taking over my fridge and hard to keep in order.

Cheers!

You'll have to fashion your own, strips of stiff cardboard in a plastic box will do.

I work with foam and we rout it by machine.

I've made some foam for sending hatching eggs in before, if you can give me the diameter and length of your eggs i'll make you one to try

I got egg trays to store eggs for selling in and the goose eggs fit OK too in the duck ones. They go in every other hole but pointy end down they're fine for storage purposes. Not sure why you're storing them in the fridge though? I've never stored any eggs in the fridge but then my house is fridge like anyway.....
