I have commented on the Mail site Jackie. To say I hope to continue after the inquiry.I hope they both get 10 years and detained where there are a lot of animal lovers and they find out and treat them the same way as they treated their pigs See how happy they become :farmer:

Just another case of people getting into something without the proper knowledge and once more the animals suffer.  >:(

Ill go and read your comment on the mail George.

Sabrina it doesnt matter whether they did any research or had much knowledge of pigs or not, only a half wit would think THAT was acceptable for ANY animal. And these people knew exactly what they were doing to those pigs!!

This is the result of exactly what I posted earlier on another thread, no respect for the animals needs or wants, and in this case plus pure greed.

As Geortge said they should be jailed for 10 years and I think banned from keeping any animal for life.

Without making light of the events or condoning the 2 individuals, the following is an expression not often heard today which dates back several hundred years:
“A pig that has two owners is sure to die of hunger.”
Ironic, isn't it?

The unfortunate thing is that these two are probably not the only ones who gave jumped on the "happy food" bandwagon!!
There are sooooo many people selling themselves as a free range, outdoor reared, pig hugging company. They have no concept of what they are really doing or the devastation that pigs cab cause on ground far smaller than they need.
I really hope that this sends a message to those who can't see the unhappy pigs for the pound signs!!

JAIL THEM, I say!!!

I hope it is, then they will see what opinion we have of them. Jailed and banned from keeping animals for life, is my wish. It would serve as a warning to those contemplating a quick buck at the expense of animal welfare. Think of the damage that they have done to those who treat their animals correctly and sell at farmers markets.

Hello Morgan Again not arguing with you at all,but such like people are not influenced by others thoughts at all. Nothing to do with this but to make my point and not you Morgan the magistrate said "and you will pay £50 and be banned from driving for 1 yr to run concurrently with your present court order" Reading further you find that they are currently serving a 2yr ban for driving a unlicensed uninsured car with no current test certificate as well as. If you ain't gorra ASBO you ain't joining our gang!  :farmer:
