Title: Lambing 101
Post by: Beeducked on March 14, 2015, 02:16:22 pm
As I obsessively watch my ewes for any signs of lambing I cheer myself up remembering my attempts to educate my OH about it all last year.
He was at home during the day while I was at work so I had gone through the signs of labour for him to watch out for and who to call if there were any problems.

I got home as he was coming out of the lambing shed. "I've just checked them all and all quiet." he informed me. "No signs of any restlessness, lip-curling, pawing or star gazing." he told me proudly. Over his shoulder I could see  the ewes and couldn't help responding "Well except the feet sticking out of that sheep's bum."
He looked round a bit surprised and said "Oh, I didn't look at that end!!!"  :roflanim:
