Hi guys. I am off to a great start it has taken me about half an hour to work out how to post here.. ???
Have read quite a few of your posts and some great ideas..
Here goes I have a few laying hens about 40 i think , 8 white silkies with 9 3week old chicks, 3 black and 2 red silkies, 5 frizzles, and 9 pekins
think that,s just about all for now.. some in incubator all started with trio of pekin which stoat and fox finished off.... last may so meant lot of work to make beastie proof.
I am a gardener and look after 3 half acres inc. fruit n veg
I am in north east fife and always on the look out for new source of bantam eggs if possible
thought might try pygmy goats but have feelers out for a few lambs as well
Any one that can help please do always open to suggestions n new ideas

Hello and welcome!!
I have an assortment of animals, just going into double figures with my goats (pygmy and large ones) and have a large free range hen flock, sell eggs at the farm gate. Have lots of bantams, silkies, and pekins too. All laying at the moment, but by Easter, I can guarantee they will all stop laying and go broody for the summer!!

Hi
We are at Midlothian so really not that far away, we have just started out on our small holding in october.. had just chickens in the back yard before. We now have 12 ducks/ducklings, 34 chickens (bantams, hybrids, silkies) 4 cats, 2 rabbits (pets) and 1 puppy. Thinking about getting pigs in the spring if it every arrives and judging by the amount of snow we have this morning it is still a long way off...
