Title: poorly bluebell
Post by: DavidandCollette on March 11, 2015, 05:52:58 pm
I noticed tonight that one of my bluebells was crouched in the corner of the hut. She didn't company when I picked her up and her comb was very dark almost Black. Any ideas please?

Oh dear. That doesn't sound right. :(  How old is she, when was she last wormed and are any of the other hens unwell?

Only a year old of that. Yes I worm them with flubenvet although they are due now. The others are fine but she didn't survive

I am sorry to hear that, my only bluebell dies of suspected egg peritonitis at just over a year old.
