Just thought I'd share my rather big Shetland Cross Charollais ewe lamb.
Shetland build, Charollais size, white and cream, wispy hairs in the fleece, complete with a Shetland tail!

Bless! :hugsheep:
She might have a very nice fleece ;) :spin:
It will be interesting to see how she grows - we find the Charollais fast-growing, and weigh heavier than they look. I'm just sending off a last year's wether, out of a Manx ewe, his dad was 1/2 Shetland, 1/4 Charollais. He's finished quickly for the type, I think, and the one out of a 3/4 Shetland 1/4 BFL mother has done even better - but isn't going away yet because his fleece is too nice, so he gets to stay till after clipping ;) :spin: :excited:
The 1/2 Shetland 1/4 Charollais tup lamb was ready to go away in January, having worked in December, and was a perfectly acceptable size and conformation for the supermarket requirement, which I was very pleased about. We took his fleece off before he went - it was gorgeous. :spin: :excited:
