Bill and Ben are both castrated males and are 18 months old. Very friendly and used to dogs, cats, sheep, chickens and children. I'm in West Sussex and I'm asking £100 for the pair which will be donated to charity. Please get in touch if you can offer these boys a home.

Just to be clear Wisspy, are you expecting to sell these to someone as pets, or to be slaughtered for meat, or either?
Thanks,
Dan

Hi, these are to go as pets and NOT for slaughter. Which is why I'm donating the asking price to charity. Thanks

Do hope you find a forever home for your Kune Kunes ......only interest I have had for mine is from people who either want one on its own as a pet, which is not something I want for them, or otherwise, they want to eat them.

Thanks Roxy, I had an enquiry for just one as well, according to DEFRA I don't think you're allowed to keep one on its own. At 18 months I don't think they would make very good meat. Rescue centres don't seem to want to take them either.
Worst case is that I will have to see them off to the great pig sty in the sky!!!!

We wouldn't send our kune kunes for meat before about a year old, and we've had fantastic meat from older sows.
I hope you do find a nice pet home for them but if you don't, I'd say the abattoir would be less of a waste of life than the knackery.
Best of luck

Thanks Suzanne, I used to raise pigs for meat and found I got attached to some of them. Ended up with these two kunes but I'm not a stranger to the local abattoir. But, I'm hoping it won't come to that.
