got 10 :chook: (lohman brown)
today we had 10 eggs-wow, bless thei little hearts.
ive got more and more respect for these little feathered creatures lately.
despite an awfull winter they were happy to be outside and still giving eggs.
when the snow and cold was at its worst we were still having 6 to 8 eggs!!.
i dont know what makes a hen happy but what ever we are doing we must be doing
something right!
i bet eddie ( our wellsummer cockerel) is proud of his ladies.
we were talking about trying to hatch some eggs, is it to early yet ;D :chook:

We were talking about this at CSSA meeting last Wednesday - we just bought a big incubatpor and we all agreed it's best to leave it another two/three weeks before setting eggs.
